About Our Theatre
Mission & Vision
The Stebens Children’s Theatre is a non-profit corporation providing training in theatre arts to students, elementary through high school. This training includes classes in all areas of theatre including acting, stagecraft and technical production. The theatre provides frequent productions to utilize this training.The theatre currently serves more than 200 students through 6 tier classes and 10 workshops. SCT produces five productions produced for the main stage; along with one musical revue (targeted to seniors) and a community wide variety show.
The mission of the theatre is to introduce young people to live theatre by providing instruction and hands-on experience in all facets of production while offering quality family entertainment to the North Iowa area.
The Children's Theatre Foundation
The mission of the Foundation is to secure gifts of money or property to provide economic assistance to the Stebens Children’s Theatre. One form of giving is through Planned Gifts.
