Tom Ballmer

Executive Director

Tom received a Masters in Child Drama from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has served in the field of youth theatre for 30 years; first at the Black Hawk Children’s Theatre in Waterloo; then at Stebens! Ballmer has published one play, “Buried Treasure,” and written eleven more.ontent and make changes to the font.

Sally Pressly

Teacher

Sally received a Masters in Child Drama from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has specialized at teaching theatre skills to young people. Early in her career Sally toured as a professional actress and served as an adjunct professor at the University of Northern Iowa.

Elizabeth Rocha

Office Manager

for her first season but has over 20 years of involvement at SCT. Liz started her career at Stebens taking tier classes and has since been involved in countless productions, served on the board of directors and now looks forward to continuing the journey with SCT in this new role.

Molly Gerrietts

Music Director

Molly received her degree in Music Education from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. She has taught at the elementary and high school levels and currently accompanies for the Mason City Schools. Gerrietts has served as musical director for SCT for four seasons. Credits include “The Music Man,” “The Sound of Music” and “Fiddler on the Roof”.

Rachel Everist

Music Director

Music Director, Pianist, studied at Gustavus Adolphus College and Northwestern University. She has accompanied over 50 shows and hundreds of concerts including performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center. She teaches piano at NIACC and serves as staff pianist for the MCHS Vocal Music Department.

Ashley Bultje

Choreographer, received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Middle Level Education from the University of Northern Iowa; as well as a Masters of Science in Education from Southwest Minnesota State University. Ashley has choreographed for 12 seasons at SCT and is an 8th grade literacy teacher at John Adams Middle School.
